The beginning of course work and of the psychoanalysis of patients under supervision will be discussed by the candidate and the faculty advisor. The subsequent decision in these matters will be made by the Progression Committee with the approval of the Education Committee. The Admissions Committee will assess the applicant’s education and evidence of excellence in clinical work commensurate with the level of training as well as personal factors which are important in determining the appropriateness of psychoanalytic training. All applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, marital status or sexual orientation.
