The academic year will begin September 8, 2008, and end on June 30, 2009. Classes will not be held on Rosh Hashanah (1st night), September 29; Yom Kippur (1st night), October 8; Columbus Day, October 13; Thanksgiving Eve, November 26; Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Birthday, January 19; President’s Day, February 16; Passover (1st night), April 8; Memorial Day, May 25; during the holiday week of Christmas and New Year’s, from December 24, 2008 through January 5, 2009. During the meetings of the American Psychoanalytic Association (January 14-19, 2009), classes will be held at the discretion of the instructor.

In case of inclement weather or a city-wide emergency, students are required to call the Institute to inquire if classes will be held.
